Tom Odell

Tom Odell has been a financial services professional for nearly three decades. A student of economics and philosophy, Tom brings a unique perspective to our nation’s current economic situation. He has more than 25 years in business management and has served on several nonprofit boards providing financial and management advice. 

Tom is the majority owner of MHT Insurance Inc. (formerly, Miller, Hansen & Torphy, Inc.), a property casualty insurance brokerage firm that has been in business in King County since 1970, and brings the expertise of risk analysis to his customers. He has worked extensively with individuals and nonprofit agencies in the development of business and financial goals. He joined the Royal Alliance Masters Club, honoring 25 years of work as a financial advisor, in 2007.

A yoga and swimming enthusiast, Tom spends as much as 10 hours a week practicing these activities. He also plays the violin, some guitar, and sings with a group called the Raretones. Tom and his wife, Diane, have been residents of Mercer Island, WA for more than 30 years and recently became proud grandparents.

Phil Sasich

Phil Sasich has been a registered Securities Principal since 1982 and was awarded membership in the Royal Alliance Masters Club in 2007, recognizing 25 years as a financial advisor. He is also an Investment Advisor Representative, and offers a variety of services for a fee without  commission-based transactions.

Early in his career Phil directed grassroots organizations for state and national political campaigns, and led the pioneering use of computer technology to organize statewide identification and get-out-the-vote efforts. He also served as operations director for a metropolitan county government and consulted on major health care studies.

In addition to his investment work of the past 25 years, Phil has provided financial and organizational development consulting services to both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, and co-founded a software development company.

Since his childhood days in Montana, Phil has been a hiker and lover of the outdoors. He earned championships in golf and formal debate in his younger days and to this day enjoys good discussions; the woods and back country; and rounds on the links.
